Constant Current Constant Voltage (CC CV) DC Buck, or switching non isolated asynchronous CC CV converter. based on the specialised IC LM2596S, output regualtion driven by a TI AOP, leading to a very stable regulation. Sanyo Low ESR Solid Caps, very low output ripple (5-10mV on average), high quality inductor. This CC CV DC Buck will find it usage in multiple application fields, for example LED driving, battery charging etc.

First adjust the output tension with trimmer 1, measuring output (no load), then use a multimeter on 10A setting in short circuit on the output and adjust curent with trimmer 1, least use the trimemr 1 to set constent tension so that the load receive it ideal working tension for the curent setting. You can then connect the load (LED, Battery etc).
